Sarah Miley
Sarah is responsible for the Skills Policy Unit within the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science. She has been in the Department since 2021 and has established several units there in this time.
Her current remit includes skills responses to prioritised and emerging areas including construction, green and digital and AI. She is also responsible for supports which underpin education and training interventions, such as the Regional Skills Fora, National Skills Council, enabling legislation and programme development.
Sarah’s career has mostly been spent in the broader education and training field. She has a Bachelors degree in Social Science, Masters degrees in Politics, Public Management and Business-Leadership & Management Practice, and various CPD credentials.
